This album is SO well done! I love when DS albums have longer songs that don't get repetitive but also keep the same vibe the whole way through, the artwork for the album is amazing too! crjanisca

Many years ago I lamented that Studio Ghilbli would never touch The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings.
If by some miracle that day ever ocured, it would be Ilthildin who should share the creation of the soundtrack, along side other greats such as Jim Kirkwood.

Deep-reaching and dense darkness encroaches and extends its tendrils out of every crack of the weathered stone walls. The compositions are very simple but sound extraordinarily oppressive and immersive. Like the seemingly physical weight of fear and distress while walking through the unknown. The slow drums complete the foreboding and funereal aura. MarsDragoner

I really like the cold winterly atmosphere, icy winds blow through the woods with a dark Dungeon Synth well dark and somber. darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM)
